Her first owner purchased her plans from the renowned sailboat designer Thomar C.Gillmer. She was constructed under Cemal Seyfioglu's supervision and in his atelier.
When she was put in water in 1966, it was considered as a milestone in Turkish amateur seamanship.
Since then her ownership passed from one another, winning races, catching looks along the way for 42 years, until she sank in the waters of the Bosphorus in summer of 2007, however, a helping hand reached through history by the sons of the very people who made her. The work was completed in the January of 2009. We wish for her to sail many decades to come.
